  • Boxtops

    BoxTops earns cash for our school.  Collect your Box Tops! Collections will occur in the fall and spring. 

    Traditional Box Tops clips are being phased out of production but may continue to be found on many products throughout the store. You can still clip and send them to school.

    Every valid Box Tops clip is worth 10¢ for your school. Make sure each one has a clearly visible product acronym and expiration date.

    Eventually, the Box Tops program will become digital-only. Participating brands are starting to change their packaging from a traditional Box Tops clip to the new Box Top label.

    If you see this label, use the new Box Tops app to scan your receipt. Download here: https://www.boxtops4education.com.  Box Tops are still worth 10¢ each for your school. The app will find participating products purchased at any store and instantly add cash to your school’s earnings online.

    LOM PTO will gladly collect box tops or receipts during our fall and spring collections this year.

    Amazon Smile

    Lookout Mountain Parent Teacher Organization is now a registered Charity with Amazon. AmazonSmile is a simple and automatic way for you to support your favorite charitable organization every time you shop, at no cost to you. When you shop at smile.amazon.com, you’ll find the exact same low prices, vast selection and convenient shopping experience as Amazon.com, with the added bonus that Amazon will donate a portion of the purchase price to your favorite charitable organization. On your first visit to AmazonSmile, you need to select Lookout Mountain Parent Teacher Organization to receive donations from eligible purchases before you begin shopping.

    If you shop from your iPhone or iPad, you will need to do the following once on each device:

    • Open Safari and navigate to smile.amazon.com.
    • Touch the share button (looks like a box with an arrow) along the bottom of screen.
    • Touch Add to Home Screen.
    • Touch Add.
    • Remove the old Amazon app from your iPhone and iPad so that you will always shop at Amazon through AmazonSmile.

  • Where Does this Fundraising Money Go?

    Recently, money gathered through fundriasing has been used for the following:

    • Courtyard beautification project - artificial turf throughout the main courtyard, paved shaded waiting zone by Kindergarten pick-up, enlarged curb and safety rail by Central and Coral Gables crosswalk
    • Online Subscriptions to support learning
    • Chromebooks
    • New playground toys
    • Umbrellas for outside seating areas
    • New cameras for the Yearbook Committee
    • Smartboards in every regular education classroom

  • LM courtyard

    New turf was added to the main courtyard thanks to your fundraising dollars!

     We've paved a walkway leading up to the kindergarten pick up gate so that parents, who are often there with their younger children, can safely line up away from the drive-thru pick up line.
